Gullwing Care Services joins the Miles and Smiles Fun Run

There’s something special about seeing a community come together — and the Miles and Smiles Fun Run was a wonderful example of exactly that! 💙
On October 3, Gullwing Care Services was proud to take part in this amazing community event organized by Riverview Community Centre in partnership with Riverview Health Centre.
The event brought together neighbors, families, friends, and community members for a fun and active way to kick off the fall season. 🍂🏃♀️🏃♂️
And yes… there were plenty of miles and even more smiles! 😊
🏃♂️💨 2.5 KM OF FUN!
Participants took on a 2.5 km fun run, enjoying the opportunity to get active, spend time with others, and be part of something happening right in their community.
For Gullwing Care Services, this wasn't just about participating in a run.
💙 It was about showing up for our community.
As a locally owned and operated company in Winnipeg, we believe supporting the communities we serve goes beyond transportation.
When there is an opportunity to come together, meet people, support a great initiative, and simply have a good time — we want to be there! 🎉
We also had our very own Gullwing Care Services stall set up at the event! 🚌💙
It was a fantastic opportunity to meet participants, connect with community members, and introduce people to what we do.
From conversations and smiles to cheering on the participants, our team had a great time being part of the atmosphere.

Events like the Miles and Smiles Fun Run remind us how important community connections are.
It doesn't always have to be a huge event. Sometimes, bringing people together for a few kilometers, some fresh air, and a lot of positive energy is enough to create a memorable day.
We were grateful for the opportunity to participate and support an event that encourages health, connection, friendship, and community involvement.
